Expandable House Buying Guide

The buyer’s guide · Before you order

A clearer brief.
A better quotation.

A double-wing expandable house starts with a few practical decisions. Compare our 20, 30 and 40 models, then use this guide to prepare the details needed for a useful quotation.

01

Start with how you will use it

Describe the intended use, number of occupants, bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom needs. Share your destination and preferred delivery window. Compare layouts against daily routines, storage and furniture placement; floor area alone does not show whether a plan works for you.

02

Ask for both sets of dimensions

Request a dimensioned drawing showing the folded transport envelope and the fully expanded footprint. Confirm external and internal measurements, ceiling heights, opening positions and the space needed during deployment. Treat model names and size labels as a starting point; use the approved drawing for planning.

03

Check the journey to your site

Ask for packed dimensions, shipping weight, loading quantities and the proposed delivery terms. Discuss site access, unloading responsibility and any equipment with your transport and site professionals. Have a qualified local professional assess ground conditions, foundation requirements, drainage and utility connections before you commit.

04

Make the supply scope explicit

Request an itemized inclusion list for the structure, wall and roof assemblies, windows, doors, finishes, kitchen, bathroom and electrical components. Clarify which items arrive installed, packed separately or supplied locally. Match the specification schedule to your selected layout, and record every option in the quotation.

05

Compare a complete quotation

Use the same specification and delivery terms across suppliers. Ask each to identify product cost, optional upgrades, packing, freight and any installation support separately. Confirm currency, quote validity, payment milestones, production schedule, warranty terms and exclusions. Ask your destination agent about duties, taxes and clearance costs.

06

Resolve destination requirements early

Before ordering, check permitted use, planning and building requirements with the relevant local authorities and qualified advisers. Request supporting documents for the exact model and configuration. A certificate or test report should be reviewed for its scope and applicability to your location.
